Honey Biscuit 香蜜鬆餅

695

On the breakfast menu of KFC in Hong Kong, there’s a honey biscuit. It’s so delicious that it’s probably one of the most popular items on their breakfast menus.

As the KFC in Germany doesn’t seem to serve this honey biscuit, this is our copycat version of the KFC’s honey biscuit. It only requires 6 ingredients, and 5 mins hands-on time! So it’s totally worth the effort to make your own.

What is a honey biscuit?

Not sure what is the proper definition of it, but in my opinion honey biscuit is like a scone. If you eat a honey biscuit right after it comes out from the oven, it will be a bit crispy on the outside, and inside it’s a bit soft. As we put honey in it, there will be a hint of sweetness from the honey.

Not sure if you ever try a honey biscuit, but if you haven’t, you should try this recipe out! It’s so simple to make and can be a nice delicious breakfast/snack!
