Are you an ice-cream lover like us? I always tempted to make our own ice-cream. Though I’m always worried that it takes so much effort, and it doesn’t taste as good as those that I can just easily buy in the store, it’s not the truth!

We learn this recipe and it is so simple and delicious! You only need whipped cream, condensed milk, and some chocolate (of course some oreo too!). There’s no need to use an ice-cream machine, and only take 15 mins to prepare!

Originally I worried the condensed milk recipe will taste very strong. But it’s not the case, you won’t taste any condensed milk, and it’s the sweetener for the ice-cream. You can put more/less depends on your taste. We added some oreo because we love it! You can also change it to chocolate chips, or marshmallows, or simply skip it. It will still taste absolutely delicious.

Double Chocolate Oreo Ice-cream

A quick and simple recipe for homemade ice-cream!

Ingredients

  • 200 g Whipped cream Keep cold.
  • 50 g Condensed milk Increase/reduce based on the sweetness you like.
  • 30 g Dark chocolate If you like it sweeter, feel free to use milk chocolate or white chocolate.
  • 20 g Pure Chocolate Powder
  • 3 pieces Oreo

Instructions

  • Melt the chocolate with a double boiler or in a microwave.
  • Remove the cream from the oreo. Break the biscuits into small pieces.
  • Put the cold whipped cream, condensed milk and pure chocolate powder in a big mixing bowl. Use a hand mixer to beat on low speed for 1 min. Then change to high speed and beat it until stiff peak formed.
  • Add the melted chocolate and oreo to the mixture. Fold it in until just mixed.
  • Put the mixture in a container that can put in the freezer. Then leave it in the freezer overnight. Enjoy it the next day with your favorite toppings!
