Chicken on Grilled Pan

348

Trying to eat ‘cleaner’ and lose some extra fat, we decided to cook more lean meat – chicken, turkey or fish than red meat. We are always opting for ways to cook it healthier. Quickly grill a chicken fillet on a grilled pan (sauce pan will actually work too!) is one of our favorites after a long and tired day at work.

Simply buy a few chicken fillets at the supermarket, this dish will be ready in less than 10 mins. You can eat this along with salad, rice or potatoes. Fast and easy!

Preparation time: 0 mins
Cooking time: 10 mins

Ingredients:

  • 4 chicken fillets (or depends how much you want to eat)
  • Black Pepper
  • Salt
  • Dried Oregano/Dried Rosemary
  • Olive oil

1. Heat up the grilled pan/saucepan
Drizzle a bit of Olive oil in the grilled pan. Turn on the fire to high.
2. Cook the chicken fillet
When the oil is hot, put the fillets on the grilled pan. Spread out, one next to another. Sprinkle some salt, black pepper and dried oregano/dried rosemary on the fillets. When you see the side of the fillet turns white, and reach almost half of the fillets, flip them. Sprinkle some salt, black pepper and dried herbs on this side as well. Cook for another minute or two. If the fillets are going to burn, lower the fire to medium. Flip it once more and cook the original side for 30s to 1 min. Then your chicken fillets are ready to serve!

Pro tips!
If your fillets are too thick, you can cut them thinner before cooking or slightly stab the chicken fillets a bit (but this way may make the fillets less juicy).
